Suspense: Deja Vu Analysis

Suspense was created by the soundtrack and camera.
Violins were being played in the background at a fast-paced rythm.
The suspense is mainly created when the man tries to open the car when he hears music coming from inside as this is mysterious, he also realises the keys are in the car. Another expected thing is that the car doesnt have a plate. Two events are going on as it shows happy people in the boat whilst it is quiet when the man is next to car. This creates suspense in the audience as you know something bad is going to happen. Camera is used to create suspense when the main is looking through the car window and there is a shot reverse shot when he realises the petrol cans in the car, without any time a huge explosion occurs in the boat and their are people flying out into the sea.

  1. Good work - showing clear awareness of how suspense is created through technical elements. Dan
