Mystery

This photograph shows two people involved in a mysterious situation, where each person is looking at different directions. The way the two people are set within the environment emphases a mysterious effect in the picture. The level set in the picture of the two people placed in a high and low angle can show difficulty and confusion with what both people are looking at therefore once again creates a mysterious tension. The frame is based within dark and dull colours being various tones of black, brown and cream this reinforces the face expressions of the two people and helps to show interest displayed in the picture. A medium close up was chosen to be used in this shot which furthermore helps to portray the purpose of the scene. The identified design of the walls being increasing horizontal lines widening almost outside the picture is a clear depiction of mystery as this can link in the mysterious direction the two people are staring intently at. The two people centred in the picture surrounded with the walls can show entrapment and anxiety which therefore leaves us with a considerable state of curiosity and mystery.
